01About AI Try-On

Our AI Try-On feature gives you an illustrative preview and general idea of how a gown could look on you.

Images are AI-generated and may alter your facial features, body proportions or gown details. They do not guarantee actual fit, sizing, colour or fabric appearance. Please refer to the product information and consult our team or arrange a fitting before purchasing or renting if necessary.

Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

02Your photos

This feature is intended for customers aged 18 or over. Please upload only a photo of yourself that you have permission to use, without other identifiable people or intimate content.

You retain your rights in your uploaded photo. You authorise us and our service providers to process it for the purposes explained in this notice.

03How your information is used

The Wedding Gown processes your uploaded photo and generated images to create your requested AI Try-On results and save your Try-On history.

We will not publish your photos or generated images, or use them in advertising, without your separate permission.

04Service providers and storage

Your photo and generated images are transferred to and stored on the provider’s servers in mainland China, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live.

05Security and retention

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your information. However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.

Your uploaded photos and generated images are retained for 1 year. Following deletion, backup copies are removed within 1 year, except where retention is legally required.

06Your choices and rights

Using AI Try-On is optional. You can browse, purchase or rent gowns without uploading a photo.

You may withdraw your consent or request deletion by contacting info@theweddinggown.hk. Withdrawal stops future processing based on consent but does not affect processing already carried out lawfully. Deleting your images may also remove your saved Try-On history.

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct or obtain a copy of your information, restrict or object to processing, and complain to the relevant privacy regulator.

07Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

AI Try-On is an optional service that produces illustrative results. The Wedding Gown does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation or permanent storage of uploaded photos or generated images. Please download any images you wish to keep.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Wedding Gown will not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of AI Try-On, including service interruptions, inaccurate results or the loss or unavailability of images.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer and privacy rights remain unaffected.
